Bobby Floyd was born in Marion, Ohio, on December 24, 1954, the son of Vera and Bob Floyd. [1] He started playing piano at age two, and was discovered to have perfect pitch shortly after, [2] starting piano lessons with his tutor L. T. Dukes at five years old. [3]
After graduating from high school, Feinstein worked in local piano bars for two years, moving to Los Angeles when he was age 20.
