Golden Valley County is a county in the U.S. state of North Dakota. As of the 2020 census, the population was 1,736, [1] making it the fourth-least populous county in North Dakota. The county seat is Beach. [2] The county should not be confused with the city of Golden Valley, which is located in Mercer County.
As of the census of 2010, there were 445 people in 206 households, including 125 families, in the city. The population density was 128.2 inhabitants per square mile (49.5/km 2).
