The Brooklyn Aviators were a professional ice hockey team based in Brooklyn, New York. The team was a member of the Federal Hockey League and was affiliated with the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers. The Aviators played their home games at the Aviator Sports and Events Center in the Brooklyn borough of New York City. [1]
The Aviators' home arena was the Aviator Sports and Events Center located at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, New York. The NHL's New York Islanders moved to the Barclays Center in 2015 after playing at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum since their inception in 1972.
For the 2018 season, the club moved its home matches to the Aviator Sports and Events Center in Brooklyn. [2] In 2019, the Club moved to the Dyker Heights campus of Poly Prep Country Day School.
