My Hero Academia (Japanese: 僕のヒーローアカデミア, Hepburn: Boku no Hīrō Akademia) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It was serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from July 2014 to August 2024, with its chapters collected in 42 tankōbon volumes.
Some of his prominent roles in animations and anime include Vegeta, Piccolo, Yamcha, Shenron, and various characters in Dragon Ball, Roronoa Zoro in One Piece, All Might in My Hero Academia, Daisuke Jigen in Lupin the Third, and Dr. Arthur Watts in RWBY.
This prototype appears only in a 2008 one-shot comic written by Horikoshi called My Hero. [2] He was later changed to a high-school student for My Hero Academia (with the chronic illness repurposed for All Might's character), however, his character remains largely unchanged. [3]
