Veterans Memorial Stadium or Veterans Memorial Sports Complex [1] is an outdoor stadium and sports complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. As part of a larger sports complex, it is the home field of the UWL Eagles football and track & field teams.
The University of Wisconsin–La Crosse Eagles (casually known as the UW–La Crosse Eagles) are the athletic teams of the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse.The Eagles athletic teams compete in at the NCAA Division III as a member of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).
The following is a list of schools that participate in NCAA Division I softball, according to NCAA.com. [1] These teams compete to go to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Devon Park for the Women's College World Series. (For schools whose athletic branding does not directly correspond with the school name, the athletic branding is in parentheses.)
UWL has also won 391 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships. [125] UWL is one of only six institutions in NCAA Division III history to finish in the top 20 all 10 years of the Directors' Cup, which includes all 433 NCAA Division III schools. The Falcons on-campus facilities include the Falcon Center, which includes Hunt Arena and Page Arena, Ramer Field, and a new complex for both softball and women's soccer. They compete in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) in all sports. The athletic director is Crystal Lanning.

From 1988 to 1999 the university hosted the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League for their preseason training camp. [15] The Saints chose to use La Crosse to escape the extreme heat and humidity of Louisiana summers, as well as the great football facilities. [ 16 ]
Women's Professional Fastpitch (WPF) is a professional women's fastpitch softball league in the United States. The new league began its promotional campaign in 2021 [3] and launched its first official season in 2023.
