It is a delicate path to tread. Parallel universes may or may not exist; the case is unproved. We are going to have to live with that uncertainty. Nothing is wrong with scientifically based philosophical speculation, which is what multiverse proposals are. But we should name it for what it is.
In physics and cosmology, the mathematical universe hypothesis (MUH), also known as the ultimate ensemble theory, is a speculative "theory of everything" (TOE) proposed by cosmologist Max Tegmark. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] According to the hypothesis, the universe is a mathematical object in and of itself.
Parallel universes in fiction, a hypothetical self-contained plane of existence, co-existing with one's own Alternate history , a genre of fiction in which historical events differ from reality Alternative universe (fan fiction) , fiction by fan authors that departs from the fictional universe of the source work
Hugh Everett's many-worlds interpretation of quantum physics, "The first and most important of the four strands".; Karl Popper's epistemology, especially its anti-inductivism and its requiring a realist (non-instrumental) interpretation of scientific theories, and its emphasis on taking seriously those bold conjectures that resist being falsified.
The multiverse: Multiple universes exist, having all possible combinations of characteristics, and humans inevitably find themselves within a universe that allows us to exist. Intelligent design: A creator designed the Universe with the purpose of supporting complexity and the emergence of intelligence.
Innumerable universes is comparable to the multiverse theory, except nonparallel where each universe is different and individual jiva-atmas (embodied souls) exist in exactly one universe at a time. All universes manifest from the same matter, and so they all follow parallel time cycles, manifesting and unmanifesting at the same time. [46]
A parallel universe, also known as an alternative universe, parallel world, parallel dimension, alternative reality, or alternative dimension, is a hypothetical universe co-existing with one's own, typically distinct in some way. [1] The sum of all potential parallel universes that constitute reality is often called the "multiverse".
For example, in order to study the geometry of the Euclidean plane, one defines the coordinates x and y as the distances between any point in the plane and a pair of axes. In ordinary geometry, the coordinates of a point are numbers, so they can be multiplied, and the product of two coordinates does not depend on the order of multiplication.
