The Indonesia national under-23 football team (Indonesia: Tim Nasional Sepak Bola Indonesia U-23) is considered to be the feeder team for the Indonesia national football team, represents Indonesia at football in the Olympic Games, Asian Games and Southeast Asian Games, as well as any other under-23 international football tournaments including the AFC U-23 Asian Cup.

The 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualification was an international men's under-23 football competition which decided the participating teams of the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup. A total of 16 teams qualified to play in the final tournament, [ 2 ] including Qatar who qualified automatically as hosts.

It was hosted by Indonesia from 17 to 29 July 2024. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] This was the first edition took place after the tournament was rebranded to ASEAN Championship. Players born on or after 1 January 2005 could participate in this tournament.
In 2005, the first edition was held in Bangkok, Thailand as the AFF U-23 Youth Championship. A second edition of the tournament was set to take place in Palembang , Indonesia between 16 and 26 July 2011 but was cancelled due to the main stadium of Gelora Sriwijaya Stadium , which was to be used for the tournament, still being under renovation.
