River Oaks District is an openair luxury shopping complex in Houston, Texas, which opened October 1, 2015. [1] It consists of 252,000 square feet of retail space with an iPic movie theater. Anchor stores include Hermes, Dior, Cartier, Harry Winston, Van Cleef, Saint Bernard, and Zimmermann.
The NRG Center hosts various events year-round, including portions of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, which maintains its offices on the second floor of the building. The grand opening of the facility was on April 12, 2002, with the Houston Auto Show. Hermes Reed Architects was the architect for the facility.
Flyover is a feature on Apple Maps that allows users to view certain areas in a 3D setting. Flyover also allows users to take "tours" of these locations through the City Tours feature, showcasing various landmarks in the area. Imagery is provided through the use of planes, which collect fine data on buildings.
