Pioneer High School (also known as Pioneer High, PHS or Pioneer) is a high school located in Woodland, California. It is one of two high schools in the Woodland Joint Unified School District. It includes grades nine through twelve. As of the 2015–2016 school year, it enrolled approximately 1500-1600 students. [2]

In 1995, PHS agencies were shifted to report directly to the Secretary of Health and Human Services rather the Assistant Secretary for Health, eliminating PHS as an administrative level in the organizational hierarchy.
