Wizkid started recording Ayo after the release of the compilation album, Empire Mates State of Mind (2012). Ayo was initially meant to be a mixtape. In an interview with MTV's The Wrap Up, Wizkid said the mixtape would include production and guest vocals from Rodney Rhymez, Maleek Berry and Wale. [4]
MechWarrior: Dark Age (MWDA; later as Age of Destruction or AOD) was a tabletop wargame by WizKids set in the BattleTech universe that uses the Clix system.The game's miniatures are pre-painted models of infantry squads, vehicles, and giant walking war machines known as BattleMechs or more simply "'mechs".
The game is the first to use WizKids' Clix system, combining roleplaying and wargaming elements with aspects of collectible card games. [1] Mage Knight achieved success after it was introduced in 2000. In October 2010 Wizkids relaunched the Mage Knight brand with Mage Knight Board Game, a cooperative board game designed by Vlaada Chvátil. [2]
They proved popular, and the following year, WizKids released Shadowrun Duels, a collectible miniatures game using a similar rotating dial system, but with much larger 6" figurines that were molded by Plan B Toys. [1] The base has three Clix dials that track damage to the head, weapon, or body.
Wizkid began recording his debut studio album Superstar in 2009. [29] He released "Holla at Your Boy" as the album's lead single on 2 January 2010. [31]The song was nominated for Best Pop Single, and earned him the Next Rated award at The Headies 2011.
The Star Wars PocketModel TCG was announced by WizKids on February 7, 2007, and released in June 2007, [1] after consumers were introduced to the game at Star Wars Celebration IV that May. An expansion to the game, entitled Ground Assault, was released on November 14, 2007. [ 2 ]
