How can I check balance on a gift card I received without redeeming it and putting it on my account. If it's a physical card it will have a value on it. @Gift card novice. That is a surprise. I would have thought Amazon service could/would have told me that. The only 'Gift Cards' Amazon accepts are those associated with VISA, MC, etc which cannot be redeemed directly to Amazon but which can be used to purchase Amazon Gift Cards.
