I didn't used pooling rate directly. I've used builtin HTML mouse event directly from xcloud page. Basically i did an script that i could place in page to force xcloud detect a fake controller. The problem was calculate delta move between each update. The mouse moved weird like an cheat o something else. But keyboard controls worked fine.
Xbox Cloud Gaming now has mouse and keyboard support in select games. For browser, make sure you've enabled "Preview Features" (top right settings menu -> Account). For Xbox app on PC, make sure you've enrolled in "PC Gaming" preview program via the Xbox Insider Hub app.
It supports both direct mouse mode and simulated mode for xcloud and xhome on Linux, steam deck, Mac, PC, and Android Mobile. So far it works with every game I have tested except MCC for some reason. Anyway, give it a try if u are curious. Direct mouse mode will only work with titles that officially support mouse and keyboard though obviously.
Solution 1: r57zone's DualShock4 emulator. This first solution was quite straightforward to setup, and depends on nefarius' ViGEmBus driver, which allows low-level controller emulation. There is also a very large README.md detailing its operation and settings.

Possibly, yes. But it's not going to be simple in some cases, and might be impossible in others. Currently all other cloud gaming services except for PS Now (which is also controller-only I believe) are built off of either a PC architecture, or a custom solution (Stadia), so they can easily support both input methods. 3.
Download the edge plugin. Emulates a controller with mouse and keyboard. It’s coming Soon. Age of Empires 2 is coming to consoles and xCloud on January 31st. It will have both KBM and controller support. Play on PC then. Would not be fair to people that don't cheat. 19 votes, 28 comments.
Mouse and keyboard support will more likely come to Xbox PC games through Microsoft’s newly proposed worldwide royalty-free licensing to other cloud gaming providers. So you’ll be able to play Xbox Studios content, and participating 3rd party content (Xbox Play Anywhere?) with a mouse and keyboard on GFN, Boosteroid, Netboom, Playkey ...
I can't link you to it due to the rules of this subreddit but you can basically just download the old version of this extension (Keyboard & Mouse for Xbox xCloud) that has no popups requiring you to pay for anything. Works as good as the latest one.
Still Waiting on xCloud Mouse & Keyboard Support in 2024. Discussion. I wanted to take a moment to share my frustration with the current state of Microsoft xCloud, specifically regarding the promised support for mouse and keyboard back in 2022. Here we are in 2024, and the feature is still nowhere to be seen.
