Look. I'm not going to take a stance on whether the game should have saving. All I can say is that the original was deliberately designed so you could not save during missions, and I assume the remaster's developers did not want to add any changes that they felt would alter the original gameplay in any substantial way.

I was near giving up,but a bit more search brought me to the Remastered Mods. So,just in case someone runs through the same Horror as i did,theres a Remastered Mod for Dark Forces 2 and Mysteries of the Sith out.They basicly make one executable out of normally 5 different Installation Steps. With the latest version of -=CHE@TER=-'s DeHacker tool mouse controls in Dark Forces are finally implemented as though they were always fully featured in the game.
