Just bought cabinets during the recent kitchen event. All parts are priced individually, so doesn't matter whether you are buying with or without the doors. You pay only for the components you buy. In fact many people just buy the frames from ikea and purchase the doors from other places to get a non-ikea look.

About $5k install for a $12k kitchen (not including quartz counter). Part of the cost was all the hacks they did for filler pieces, build outs, and cutting cabinets to the correct size because I couldn't source the size I needed at the time (thanks, covid!). Some was cabinet lighting and trim work.

IKEA kitchen DIY. There is an ikea kitchen event coming up. I already did my design. Looking to spend ~5k in cabinets, I will get the quartz sourced somewhere else~2k. I would save 7k if I went with custom cabinets though it’s better quality and a quicker install. I’m looking to get some opinions on people that did it themselves.
