  2. What does a high population density mean? - Answers

    www.answers.com/sociology/What_does_a_high_population_density_mean

Having a high population density means that there are more people living in a certain distance, for example Japan would have a higher population density if 1000 people lived in an area of 1 km ...

  3. What are homogeneous and heterogeneous populations?

    socratic.org/questions/what-are-homogeneous-and-heterogeneous-populations

Homogenous populations are alike and heterogeneous populations are unalike. Homogenous means alike. Heterogenous means unalike or distinct from one another. Thus, a homogenous population has little variation. You could refer to a specific trait, such as hair color or you could refer to genetic diversity. For example, a population of humans that has inhabited an island for thousands of years ...

  4. What is the definition of population density? - Socratic

    socratic.org/questions/what-is-the-definition-of-population-density

The number of individuals within a certain area. Population density refers to the total number of individuals within a particular area. It is calculated by taking the total number of individuals and dividing it by the area. If there are two nature reserves of the exact same size, and one reserve has twenty elephants and the other reserve has one hundred and fifty elephants, the first reserve ...

  5. What does the population growth model equation mean? dN/dt=rN

    socratic.org/questions/what-does-the-population-growth-model-equation-mean-dn...

The equation (dN)/dt = rNmeans that rate change of the population is proportional to the size of the population, where r is the proportionality constant. This is a rather simple and impractical equation because it signifies an Exponential Population Growth. If you are familiar to the Future Value of a compounded interest rate, FV = PV (1+r)^n. dN/dt = rN : a differential equation describing ...

  6. How is population density measured? - Socratic

Arithmetic density – the number of people per unit of area (i.e., the same as population density). Agricultural density – total number of farmers per unit of arable land. Physiological density – total population per unit of arable land.

I have not played the game yet but i assume "density" means how many peoplez walkz aroundz the city and "varety" is how diverse the people looks. Example if you have variety at 0% every citizen looks the same and if you have 100% nobody on the streets looks the same regarding clothes, face, coulured shirt ETC.

  8. How can population density affect population growth? - Socratic

    socratic.org/questions/how-can-population-density-affect-population-growth-1

Population growth decreases as the population density increases. This may be true for non-human populations but our species has developed the ability to modify the environment to sustain a huge population size. These efforts will eventually fail miserably and hence in recent years the trend of human population growth has shown some recession. ()
