The Oxford Placement Test (OPT), also called the Oxford Online Placement Test (OOPT), is an on demand computer-adaptive test of the English language for non-native speakers of English, reporting at Pre-A1, A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2 levels of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
A major revision of the test occurred in 2013 leading to the launch of CaMLA EPT Forms D, E and F. [2] A further three test forms were released in 2015: Forms G, H and I. The CaMLA EPT can be used with learners of English as a second language at all levels, from beginners to advanced.
The placement test uses the same task types as Cambridge English: Young Learners and covers listening, reading and writing skills. The placement test is computer adaptive.
