Mount Tomanivi, previously named Mount Victoria and also known as Tomaniivi, is an extinct volcano located in the northern highlands of Viti Levu. At 1,324 metres (4,344 ft), Mount Tomanivi is the highest mountain in Fiji. A trail leads to the summit of Tomanivi from the village of Navai.

Nabukelevu is a volcano located on the southwest portion of Kadavu Island in Fiji. It is 805 metres (2,641 ft) tall, and last erupted around 1660. It has formed lava domes [1] Nabukelevu is the only area in west Kadavu Island that retains extensive old-growth forest.
Since 9500 B.C., 167 volcanic vents have formed, primarily along the southern inland tip. The youngest vent formed sometime between 4690 and 4900 B.C. Eruptions occurred at intervals of about 70 years. However, since 1200 B.C., there have been six periods of frequent eruptions, each lasting between 200 and 400 years.
