Tabernacle Township is a township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 6,776, [10] [11] a decrease of 173 (−2.5%) from the 2010 census count of 6,949, [19] [20] which in turn reflected a decline of 221 (−3.1%) from the 7,170 counted in the 2000 census. Apple Pie Hill is a hill in Tabernacle Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. It is 205 feet (62 m) tall, making it one of the highest points of the New Jersey Pine Barrens . [ 2 ] A 60-foot-tall (18 m) fire tower stands atop the summit, offering views of the surrounding Pine Barrens. [ 3 ]
On January 8, 2019, the amended SP-10 Zoning Ordinance was passed by City Council for the 178-acre site, Hazelwood Green. This Zoning Ordinance amendment accompanied the new Preliminary Land Development Plan (PLDP), which was approved on September 11, 2018 by Pittsburgh Planning Commission to replace the plan of record. Central Lawrenceville has five land borders with the Pittsburgh neighborhoods of Upper Lawrenceville to the north, Stanton Heights to the east and northeast, Garfield to the southeast, Bloomfield to the south and Lower Lawrenceville to the southwest. Its adjacent neighborhoods across the Allegheny River include Millvale and Shaler Township.
