The 2024 Summer Olympics women's street skateboarding competition took place on 28 July 2024 at Place de la Concorde in Paris, France. [1] This was the second edition of the event after it has been introduced at the 2020 Olympics.
With the showcase of youthful talents and the level of competition continually rising, Paris 2024 will witness more skateboarders compete across four medal events (street and park for both men and women) as the roster size gradually expands from 80 in Tokyo to 88. [2]
The next skateboarding competitions are set to take place on Aug. 6, when the women's park skateboarding prelims begin at 6 a.m. ET. The finals will begin at 11:30 a.m. ET.

In September 2015, skateboarding was included in a shortlist along with baseball, softball, karate, surfing, and sport climbing to be considered for inclusion in the 2020 Summer Olympics; [1] and in June 2016, the Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced that they would support the proposal to include all of the shortlisted sports in the 2020 Games. [2]
Each NOC can enter a maximum of twelve skateboarders (six for each gender) in both the street and park events. Host country France reserves four quota places with one for each event, while the same amount is entitled to the eligible NOCs interested to have their skateboarders compete for Paris 2024 through a Tripartite Commission Invitation. [ 2 ]
