The Norris-Oakey House, also known as the Dunham-Oakey House, stands at 1119 Orange Avenue. First built in 1750, and then in 1820 single-handedly transformed into the best surviving example of Cranford's first definitive architecture, the Federal style. The windows tell the story here.
Oaky Grove is a historic house located in Shotwell, Wake County, North Carolina, a suburb of Raleigh. Built in 1818 by Thomas Price, Oaky Grove has been home to generations of the Price, Blake, and Doub families. Before the Civil War, the Price plantation consisted of 4,500 acres (1,800 ha) of farm land.
The R Section of the cemetery, county-owned and used for North Graveyard reburials since the 1800s, was marked with an artwork named Departed Denizens, a 32,000-lb. granite boulder with a bronze wolf sculpture atop it in 2020. The sculpture is dedicated to these early city residents, and was designed by Ohio artist Mike Major.

The Old North End Historic District is a historic district in the Italian Village neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. [1] [2] A boundary increase was approved to the register in 1999. [3] District boundaries overlap with the city's Italian Village Historic District.

Oakey was born on September 12, 1829, in Brooklyn, New York. His father was a lineal descendant of Cromwell officer John Okey, while his mother was a descendant of Hartford founder Thomas Hooker. He moved to Flatbush with his family when he was eight. [1] Oakey studied at Erasmus Hall Academy.
