Chandler's Ford (originally The Ford [2] and historically Chandlersford) is a largely residential area and civil parish in the Borough of Eastleigh in Hampshire, England. It had a population of 21,436 according to the 2011 Census.
The site received major bomb damage during the Second World War and Elliotts closed the Bishop Waltham works (still widely known as 'Blanchards') in 1957.
