Vinayak Narahari Bhave, also known as Vinoba Bhave (pronunciation ⓘ; 11 September 1895 – 15 November 1982), was an Indian advocate of nonviolence and human rights. Often called Acharya (Teacher in Sanskrit), he is best known for the Bhoodan Movement.
The college was founded in 1968. It is managed by the Khairul Islam Higher Education Society, which was founded by educationist Rafiq Zakaria. [5] The college was the first educational institutes in South Mumbai and one of the first institutes in the state of Maharashtra to power its electricity requirements completely from solar energy.
