Beach Channel High School (BCHS) (also known as High School 410 or H.S. 410), was a high school in the public school system of New York City, located at 100-00 Beach Channel Drive in Rockaway Park in the borough of Queens. The school opened in 1973, grew to over 2,150 students by 2006, and closed in 2014. [1] [2] [3]
BCHS is located on a 46-acre campus on the corner of Stockdale Highway and Allen Road, in the growing west side of Bakersfield. The facilities feature highlights such as the Media Center, Student Union, Fine Arts Center and a Sports Center which houses one of the largest high school gymnasiums in Kern County.
