  2. are candy appliances any good? — MoneySavingExpert Forum

    forums.moneysavingexpert.com/.../are-candy-appliances-any-good

Remember candy is for kids and you find bushes in the garden. I had a Candy washer/dryer and it was the worst machine I have ever had. I would say avoid. If it is at all possible, it is worth paying a bit more if you can afford it as I do think with applicances it is worth getting better quality - should last longer/less money spent on repairs ...

    forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2258979/best...

Our kitchen is 284cm by 184.7cm (to be precise). So far been quoted £2400 (not inc fitting) with Candy appliances (Magnet trade) £4000 (not inc fitting) with Neff appliances (Jewsons) £9000 (inc fitting) with Neff appliances (Moben) Magnet obviously cheapest but door quality seems a bit crappy. Also any opinion on best make of appliances ...

  6. Indesit or beko washing machine? — MoneySavingExpert Forum

    forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5647810/indesit-or...

Neither brand has a good reputation, but my personal experience is that I've had nothing but Indesit washing machines, washer dryers and dishwashers in four houses (two rented and two owned) over the course of nine years. They weren't my choice - they were there when we moved in - but none of them has ever missed a beat or needed a repair.

  7. howdens "lamona" appliances question - any good?

    forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2194951

Hi. Lamona are Howden's own brand of appliances. They will tell you they are as good as Neff Bosch Siemens. They are wrong. Their appliances are pretty much like their kitchens, hyped up by themselves but really they are just cheap builders products. CK.

  8. Altering existing kitchen cupboard for new integrated dishwasher

    forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5623218

An integrated dishwasher doesn't go in a cupboard. It simply sits in a 600mm space (secured to the worktop or adjacent cupboards) with a d!cor door on the front to make it look alike a cupboard. Therefore the cupboard you are suggesting would need to be removed. You will need to have an electrical supply. We fit these in the adjacent cupboard ...

  10. Electric built in oven - is it safe to plug it in instead of...

    forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6335612/electric...

My knowledge of electronics is very basic so I don't fully understand what this means but my old oven was wired into a socket but in the fuse box it was on the same fuse as lots of other things, so when that fuse tripped, the oven would go off but so would the phone, the lights in the living room and all the plugs in the living room.
