Grayland is a Metra commuter railroad station in the Old Irving Park neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois, along the Milwaukee District North Line.
Grayland Station, just south of the bridge, will be rebuilt with longer platforms, new public address equipment, visual information signs, shelters with on-demand heat on each side, new lighting and new stairs and ramps, making it fully ADA-compliant.
Milwaukee Avenue between Kilbourn and Kenneth avenues was closed in September 2022 to speed up construction on the Grayland Metra station, 3729 N. Kilbourn Ave., and replace its 122-year-old railroad bridge. Construction on the bridge started in fall 2021.
Driving Directions. From the North (Milwaukee, WI) Take I-94, get off at Touhy Avenue, going West. About two miles west you will come to railroad tracks. Cross the tracks but turn left immediately after them onto Lehigh Ave. Follow Lehigh to the next stop light (Devon Avenue).
