The Delhi–Karnal Regional Rapid Transit System (Delhi–Karnal RRTS) is an approved, 135 km (84 mi) long, semi-high speed rail corridor connecting Delhi, Sonipat, Panipat, and Karnal in the National Capital Region.

Sonipat Junction railway station is located in Sonipat district in the Indian state of Haryana. [1] It is a major junction in Delhi NCR. [2] It is also connected to Gohana and Jind via regular rail links. There is also a proposal connecting Palwal directly from Sonepat.
