The għonnella [oˤːnˈnɛl.lə] (pl. għenienel [eˤːˈnɛːnəl]), sometimes referred to as a Faldetta, is a form of women's head dress and shawl, or hooded cloak, unique to the Mediterranean islands of Malta and Gozo.
