The Kentucky Colonels of the American Basketball Association played their home games in Freedom Hall for six seasons, from the fall of 1970 until the ABA–NBA merger in June 1976. The Colonels moved to Freedom Hall after playing their first three seasons at the Convention Center (1967–68 through 1969–70).

AC/DC was the opening act for several concerts on this tour. [2] The costumes and stage show were carried over from the Love Gun Tour, with minor changes made to the setlist. During the show in Pittsburgh, Peter Criss had passed out in the middle of the concert. After a brief intermission, he returned to finish the show with his bandmates. [3]
The 12-concert series kicks off the weekend of Jan. 24, 2025 and continues through weekends in April, May, June, and July of 2025; two final shows will be held on Aug. 15 and 16 of next year as well.
