Iridescent is the fourth studio album by American metalcore band Silent Planet. The album was released on November 12, 2021, through UNFD and Solid State Records . It was co-produced by Drew Fulk , Daniel Braunstein and guitarist Mitchell Stark.
"Iridescent" is a rock ballad about hope in the midst of chaos and sadness. The album version of the song starts segued from the previous track "Wisdom, Justice and Love" as an A minor in piano with Mike Shinoda's verses as well, while the chorus are sung in C major and up until the end of the song where it segues to the next track "Fallout".
Sputnikmusic opined that "Iridescence is the best Brockhampton album because it doesn't give a fuck what you think a Brockhampton album should sound like." [ 37 ] NME ' s El Hunt wrote, "Far from making vague allusions to the events prior to Iridescence , Brockhampton lay them bare, atop some of their most adventurous work to date."
