Mr. Bullington grew up in Highlandtown and graduated from Loyola Blakefield before enlisting in the Army in 1946. He was discharged the next year and attended Loyola College on the G.I. Bill. He was captain of the school soccer team and graduated in 1952.
In 1995 and 1996, he played the summer outdoor season with the New York Centaurs in the A-League. In 1998, he played for the Hershey Wildcats in the A-League.
