Herkimer County is a county in the U.S. state of New York.As of the 2020 census, the population was 60,139. [2] Its county seat is Herkimer. [3] The county was created in 1791 north of the Mohawk River out of part of Montgomery County.
The western border of the town is the Oneida County line, and the northern border is the Mohawk River. Moyer Creek and Ferguson Creek flow northward through Frankfort to the Mohawk River. [7] New York State Route 5S runs parallel to the Mohawk River. New York State Route 171 intersects old NY 5S in the village of Frankfort.
Warren is a town in Herkimer County, New York, United States. The population was 1,143 at the 2010 census. [4] The town is named after General Joseph Warren, who was killed at the Battle of Bunker Hill. Warren is in the south part of Herkimer County. US 20 passes across the town.
