Thomas Frank La Stella was born in Westwood, New Jersey, to Jane and Phil La Stella. He and his two siblings grew up in nearby Closter, New Jersey. He is of Italian descent. [1] [2] He attended Saint Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, New Jersey. He played baseball in high school, but briefly quit after his junior year, citing burnout. [3]
For girls, the sports are basketball, bowling, cross country, field hockey, lacrosse, tennis, indoor and outdoor track, and volleyball. [1] In some sports, there are no group championships.
