The Holland Marsh is a wetland and agricultural area in Ontario, Canada, about 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of Toronto. [1] It lies entirely within the valley of the Holland River , stretching from the northern edge of the Oak Ridges Moraine near Schomberg to the river mouth at Cook's Bay , Lake Simcoe .
It is also on Ogahalla Creek, part of the James Bay drainage basin, which flows via the Atikasibi River to the Kenogami River. A now abandoned airfield, created by the Department of National Defence [ 5 ] in the mid-1930s in part using 22,632 person-days of unemployment relief labour, [ 6 ] lies to the north of the place.
The Annex is a neighbourhood in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The traditional boundaries of the neighbourhood are north to Dupont Street, south to Bloor Street , west to Bathurst Street and east to Avenue Road . [ 3 ]

The Root River is a river in the Unorganized Part of Kenora District in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. [1] The river is part of the Hudson Bay drainage basin, is a tributary of Lac Seul, and serves as the conduit for waters diverted from Lake St. Joseph, the source of the Albany River in the adjacent James Bay drainage basin.
The river begins at an unnamed lake in Unorganized Sudbury, Sudbury District, about 4.7 kilometres (2.9 mi) northwest of the settlement of McKees Camp and the McKee's Camp railway station, and heads north to Tramp Lake where it meets the Canadian National Railway (CN) transcontinental main line, served by the Via Rail The Canadian passenger train.
