The Maple Valley Public School District (MVSD #4 or MVPSD) is a public school district in Barnes and Cass counties in the U.S. state of North Dakota, [4] [5] based in Tower City. It also serves Buffalo , Fingal , and Oriska .
In the 1998-1999 school year, the state had 221 school districts with 113,300 students. In January 2007, the number of school districts had declined to 195, and these districts had a total of 95,600 students.
It was established on July 1, 2012, from the merger of the Anthon–Oto Community School District and the Maple Valley Community School District. [4] The vote for merging the districts was scheduled for February 1, 2011. [5] From 2005 until 2015 what is now known as MVAO and the MVAO of 2015 lost a total of 178 students. [6]
