The Aga Khan School, Dhaka, is an English Medium School, in Uttara, Dhaka [2] [3] under the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) [1] and the Aga Khan Education Service, Bangladesh (AKES,B). [2] It is one of the earliest private English Medium schools in Bangladesh founded in 1988, [ 4 ] in a small campus in Siddeshwari, Dhaka.

In 1953, its constitution was amended and the union was renamed Dhaka University Central Students' Union. In 2019, the last DUCSU election took place after 29 years.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) approved the academic programs on July 30, 2003, with a temporary licence, [2] and on August 30, 2003, the Ministry of Education approved RUD under the Private University Act, 1992.
