Milton Academy (informally referred to as Milton) is a co-educational, independent, and college-preparatory boarding and day school in Milton, Massachusetts, educating students in grades K–12. The Lower School (grades K–8) educates day students and the Upper School (grades 9–12) educates a roughly even mixture of boarding and day students.

[2] Edwards attended Marysville public school through tenth grade, then Noble and Greenough School, a Boston private school, and graduated from Princeton University with an A.B. in religion in 1963 after completing a senior thesis titled "Awareness and Response".
Cutler attended the Noble & Greenough School, but later transferred to Kent School. He did not make the Kent varsity crew as a starter, but in 1932 went to the Henley Royal Regatta as a substitute. He went on to Harvard College. During his sophomore year (1935) he was promoted from No. 2 on the junior varsity crew to varsity pace setter. [2]
