The International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) is a labor union representing paid full-time firefighters and emergency medical services personnel in the United States and Canada. The IAFF was formed in 1918 and is affiliated with the AFL–CIO in the United States and the Canadian Labour Congress in Canada.

Harold Allen Schaitberger (born June 24, 1946) is an American labor leader who served as General President of the International Association of Fire Fighters from 2000 to 2021. [ 1 ] Harold A. Schaitberger served as the ninth president in the IAFF's 100-year history, and was the first to have been elected by acclamation in 2000.
