Some women lose weight during the first trimester due to nausea/vomiting. I’m sure it’s ok as long as you are eating enough, and your ob will definitely let you know if they’re concerned. I have lost 8lbs in the first trimester. Just having trouble with food aversion and nausea.
That I've read has said it's really unsafe to lose weight while pregnant, even if you are overweight and would otherwise be recommended to lose weight. Unless you have a doctor that knows your situation and pregnancy well and has told you to do this, I would say absolutely do not lose weight, as it can be very harmful to your baby. 1. Like.

Last pregnancy, I was told to only gain 10-15 lbs (I gained 20…). I was 185 at 5’4” and now I’m 181. Technically, no need 0 additional calories for first trimester, 350 extra for second trimester, and 450 for third trimester. So if you don’t severely limit your calories, you should probably be fine.
be super careful cutting out so much. My doctor told me that it can decrease supply. 1200 calories a day is what you need to exist minimum. I understand your frustration. I was 3 pounds away from my goal weight when I got pregnant. But I know that it’s just a phase in my life that will end eventually.
