St. Peter's Cathedral (French: Cathédrale Saint-Pierre de Rabat) is a Roman Catholic church located at Golan Square (Place du Golan) in downtown Rabat, Morocco. It was erected in the early 20th century in the Art Deco style. The cathedral is dedicated to Saint Peter, and is the ecclesiastical seat of the Archdiocese of Rabat. [citation needed]

The cathedral ceased its religious function in 1956, after the independence of Morocco. It subsequently became a cultural centre which is open to visitors. [1] It has hosted numerous art exhibitions. The Institut Français in Casablanca even organized an electronic music night inside the nave of the former church on October 10, 2015. [2]

The church is located on Rue Es-Siaghine, just west of the Petit Socco square at the center of the Tangier medina. It stands on the former ground of the Swedish legation, [ 2 ] : 768 which had been established there in 1788. [ 3 ]
In 1880, Hassan I of Morocco donated land to the British community in order to build a small Anglican church in Tangier. The resulting church was soon found to have insufficient capacity for the increasing number of worshippers, and a new building was constructed in 1894 which became the Church of Saint Andrew. [1] It was consecrated in 1905. [2]

[8] The number of the Moroccans who converted to Christianity (most of them secret worshippers) are estimated between 8,000 [9] –50,000.
The night life is a great experience to be part of, including several cafes, restaurants, clubs, and a boardwalk. A couple of beach residential areas that are good places for vacation are "Residence of Oubaha" and "Palm Beach." There are several other projects going on in the city of Mohammedia as well as infrastructure throughout the city.
