Goose Lake State Recreation Area is located on Stateline Road, between New Pine Creek, Oregon and Goose Lake in Lake County, Oregon.It is on the east side of Goose Lake, on the Oregon–California border, and the recreation area offers seasonal camping from May 1 to October 31.
Oregon Inlet is an inlet along North Carolina's Outer Banks. It joins the Pamlico Sound with the Atlantic Ocean and separates Bodie Island from Pea Island , which are connected by the 2.8-mile (4.5 km) Marc Basnight Bridge that spans the inlet.
The Lassen Cut-Off continued down the Pit River into California's Central Valley, while the Applegate Cut-Off went into southern Oregon along the Lost River. The lake completely dried up in the years 1851, 1852, 1926, 1929–1934, 1992, [8] 2009, and 2013-2015. Goose Lake overflowed into the Pit River watershed in 1868. [9]
The ecoregion has an area of 105,520 square kilometres (40,740 sq mi). 55% of the ecoregion is in Oregon, and the remaining 45% in California. [2] The ecoregion is generally west of the crest of the Oregon Coast Range and northern California Coast Ranges.
