Fire Rock Navajo Casino is a Navajo casino located in the town of Church Rock, New Mexico, on historic Route 66. [2] The casino opened November 19, 2008, and is one of four operated by overseers Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise (NNGE), which includes Flowing Water, Northern Edge and Twin Arrows casinos.
On November 7, 2019, it was announced that Sears would be closing this location a part of a plan to close 96 stores nationwide. The store closed on February 3, 2020. [ 8 ] In 2019, Hobby Lobby filed plans with the city of Farmington to renovate the space formerly occupied by Sears, [ 9 ] though no such renovations have taken place as of May 2023.

In December 2000, the Kalispel Tribe opened Northern Quest Casino, consisting of 55,540 square feet of gaming, restaurants, and back-of-house operations. In 2002, 35,000 square feet of additional gaming space opened to the public. [23] In 2009, the Tribe opened a 250-room hotel, and the casino was renamed Northern Quest Resort & Casino.
