Pappy's Smokehouse (often referred to as simply Pappy's) is a barbecue restaurant located in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. [1] It was started in 2008 by Mike Emerson, who previously worked at another barbecue restaurant called Super Smokers. [1] [3] [4] The restaurant was named after Emerson's late brother, Jim. [2]

Route 141, also known as Woods Mill Road in parts of St. Louis County, [2] is a state highway located in the western St. Louis metropolitan area. Its northern terminus is at Route 370 in Bridgeton ; its southern terminus is at U.S. Route 61 / U.S. Route 67 in Arnold , in Jefferson County.
Lombardo's Restaurants, located around the St. Louis area, also claim to have been among the first to bring toasted ravioli to the States from Sicily; their current owner, Tony Lombardo, shows menus from the 1930s that include it.
