Nick's Boat Dock is open from April 1 to November 30 and is 5 miles (8.0 km) west of McDaniels off KY 259. [1] There are also five boat launching ramps located around the Rough River Lake.
Nearby attractions include Mammoth Cave National Park, Nolin Lake State Park, Moutardier Resort and Marina, Ponderosa Boat Dock/Marina and Wax Marina. Grayson County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky.As of the 2020 census, the population was 26,420. [1] Its county seat is Leitchfield. [2] The county was formed in 1810 and named for William Grayson (1740–1790), a Revolutionary War colonel and a prominent Virginia political figure.
Leitchfield's radio stations are 104.9 WKHG-FM, a.k.a. K105, a Top 40 station, and 870 WMTL-AM, which plays country music and also 103.9 fm The Moose, which is a country channel that plays popular sports talk show Kentucky Sports Radio hosted by Matt Jones. Both stations are owned by Heritage Media of Kentucky.
