The Ontario Reign are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL) that began play in the 2015–16 season. Based in Ontario, California , and affiliated with the National Hockey League 's Los Angeles Kings , the team plays its home games at the Toyota Arena .
The Toyota Sports Performance Center is a practice facility for the Los Angeles Kings, and the Ontario Reign, located on 555 North Nash Street in El Segundo, California. The $24 million, 135,000 square feet (12,500 m 2 ) facility broke ground on April 28, 1999, and officially opened on March 5, 2000.
The Ontario Reign were a professional ice hockey team from Ontario, California that played in the ECHL.Their home arena was the then Citizens Business Bank Arena.They were affiliated with two National Hockey League teams: the Los Angeles Kings were the team's primary affiliate, and the Winnipeg Jets were the secondary affiliate.
The Reign held its first game at the arena on October 25, 2008, against the Las Vegas Wranglers in front of a crowd of 8,832. The Reign won their first game at the arena 4–1. [20] On January 20, 2010, the arena hosted the 2010 ECHL All-Star Game in front of 7,615 fans. [21]
Jack Studnicka (born February 18, 1999) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward for the Ontario Reign in the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL). Studnicka was drafted in the second round (53rd overall) by the Boston Bruins in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

Akil Thomas (born January 2, 2000) is a Canadian-American professional ice hockey centre for the Ontario Reign in the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect to the Los Angeles Kings. In the 2018 NHL Entry Draft , Thomas drafted in the second round, 51st overall, by Los Angeles.
