Baker School (Now Baker High School), established in 1903, was originally a one classroom school for grades 1-12. In 1927, the school became an official part of the Mobile County Public School System. This change brought new buildings to the campus. In 1930, the building to the right of the original school house would serve as the main building.

Baker High School was founded in the early 1900s and resides in Baker, [3] a town in north East Baton Rouge Parish. BHS provides an assortment of regular and honors level courses, and College Dual Enrollment opportunities with BRCC .
In 1889, Baker City built a school housing 12 grades, the second public high school in Oregon. [3] In 1989, the school was mostly destroyed in a fire, although no one was hurt. [3] [4] A new building was completed in 1991. [3]

Tucson High School was built in 1907 across the street from where it now stands. The school relocated to its present site in 1923. In 1956, the school had the largest enrollment of any high school in the United States, over 6,800 pupils. The original Tucson High building still exists as Roskruge Bilingual K-8 Magnet School.
