Cobalt nitrate hexahydrate (Co(NO 3) 2 ·6H 2 O) is a red deliquescence crystal that is easily soluble in water, [12] and its molecule contains cobalt(II) hydrated ions ([Co(H 2 O) 6] 2+) and free nitrate ions.
