Eastern is located on Windham Street in Willimantic, Connecticut, on 182 acres (0.74 km 2) 30 minutes from Hartford, lying midway between New York City and Boston. It is the third-largest of the twelve colleges in the Connecticut State Colleges & Universities (CSCU) system. The school, which has an open admissions policy, offers 45 associate degree and 26 certificate programs.
