The 2011 grave site with new headstone that reads "The Leatherman". The Leatherman's original grave in Sparta Cemetery was within 16 feet (5 m) of Route 9. On May 25, 2011, the grave's contents were exhumed and reburied at a new site in the cemetery. No visible human remains were recovered during the exhumation.

Allegheny Cemetery is one of the largest and oldest burial grounds in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.It is a historic rural cemetery. [4]The non-sectarian, wooded hillside park is located at 4734 Butler Street in the Lawrenceville neighborhood, and bounded by the Bloomfield, Garfield, and Stanton Heights areas.
This latter area was called East Pittsburgh in an 1852 map. Other homes were scattered through Middle and Lower Oakland, with development along Ward Street as far as Frazier. By 1872 the Linden Land Company had been formed and apparently purchased many acres of land in Linden Grove, land which had not previously been sold by Craft or by Leslie.
It features expansive, well-kept lawns with large cannons and other war implements. The side streets flanking the building are Bigelow Boulevard and University Place, with O'Hara Street directly behind the memorial. It houses rare and one-of-a-kind exhibits that span the eras from the American Civil War to present-day conflicts.

Funerary and memory sites of the First World War (Western Front) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which incorporates 139 cemeteries and memorials on the Western Front of the First World War. On 20 September 2023, UNESCO designated the locations as a World Heritage site. [1] [2]
