I bought a Carry-On 5x8 utility trailer at TS, it comes with a black mesh bed. I want to put something protective on the bed, most common I see is 5/4 x 6 lumber, pressure treated can cause the mesh to corrode and untreated requires a protective coating.

Subaru Outback (2016+) std (2.5L not 3.6L) as towing vehicle. I'm assuming 5x8 utility as sufficient - those seem to be around 500-600lbs empty weight - and ...
Long Story short, an hour later it was in my driveway. The first thing I wanted to do was put down a wood floor. The 5x8 with the composite deck was also on sale, but was $350.00 more than the mesh floor. Everything but the floor on the trailers was identical. 1 - 2x4x10 pt, 11 - 5/4x6x8 pt deck boards, 8' of aluminum corner and the hardware ...
Lowes 5x8 trailer. I saw this 5x8 trailer on Facebook yesterday morning about 20 minutes from the house. Guy said he bought it earlier this year, used it 3 or 4 times but needed to sell it. He had the 2020 certificate of origin and tag receipt. He had paid 749 for it so he still wanted a little more than I wanted to pay.
Hey guys, I been using my trailer and enjoying it! I have been more concerned on lack of spare tire and how many of you told me to get one. I found them on Amazon and got the tire and holder for only $70. I brought the trailer over tonight and we mounted them. One issue is my tongue is so short the trailer wheel and tire mount take a lot of room.
Looks pretty good to me for the money. I have a 6x12 single axle and an 6x16 dual axle. Both with wood floors. The 16 ft in Alabama was $26.00 to tag and title and the 12ft was $18.00. The 12 ft has a mesh tailgate like the one you’re looking at and it works quite well.
Folks on this site have recommended Carry-On trailers so I visited their website, liked the specs and bought a 5x8 at Lowes. When I got home I realized the Lowes model was different then what I was looking at on the Carry-On website. Apparently, Lowes (locally at least) is carrying a scaled back version the model the Tractor Supply Store carries.
I have a 5x8 utility trailer from TSC. My X720 with 54" deck takes up practically the whole thing, but it goes on there with 1/2" to spare on each side of the deck. You will need to lift the grass chute up all the way to make it fit. Yep, it'll fit, just need to lift the chute all the way up.
i've got a 5x8 utility trailer i bought from northern tool for $600. i added wood floor boards, winch, jack stands and paint. my jd 112 with the snowblower on the front has less then a foot of clearance front/back. i'd suggest something a little longer. also most of the longer ones are rated for 3,000lbs or more. mine is rated for 2,000lbs. mike.
