Yi Sang-woo (Korean: 이상우; born 10 October 1951) is a South Korean film director, screenwriter and actor. Yi earned his degree in the Department of Aesthetics at Seoul National University . In 1977, he played a significant role in the establishment of the Yeonwoo Stage theater company and, in 1995, he founded the Chaimu Theater Company.
